I frakin' love The Rundown. The Rock and Seann William Scott had great action buddy chemistry, the fighting was great and the comedy bits worked. It's just super entertaining. And Stiffler was great in Goon too.

@avclub-c54c561b74163f70a5572998e3955227:disqus But didn't Doug get some action from the callgirl after paying her off?
He looked like he was getting kicked in the balls. Repeatedly.
OK, that description of Stamper makes me wanna watch the original version.
At this point, the only character I'm rooting for is Doug. I like that he's extremely competent and incredibly loyal.
@avclub-1452ffdb44788d62f55be4362bad5808:disqus Goggins definitely. During the scene where Underwood was in the church for the dead girl's memorial, all I could think about was Boyd Crowder would kill this sermon.
A lot of the Silas stuff really doesn't make sense. Who buried him in the first place? And why was he buried with the cure? Why wasn't the cure used on him, if they were capable of burying him?
Also, he was wearing a pregnancy test as an earring. Gotta love that.
I stopped watching SPN mid-season 6. I marathoned seasons 1-4 and caught up with 5. The 6th season just felt like it was floundering too much and had nowhere to go. But recently I've been seeing the episodes get pretty good reviews and I gotta admit I'm tempted to jump back in.
Friday Night Lights
The Wire
Breaking Bad
All-Star Tiffany was great. That was a master class in image management.
And that he actually cried when he finally cooked it well enough to pass Jiro's standards.
I think you just figured out why most horror movies nowadays are all about EXTREME EDGINESS AND GORE AND STUFF. There's no real "shock value" left. A simple ghost story just won't cut it anymore.

@avclub-e025b6279c1b88d3ec0eca6fcb6e6280:disqus Oh god yes. I didn't even make it through the first "tape" with all those douchebags before I checked out.

She's tough but she's no cookie!
I read somewhere that she's actually Wiccan in real life. Huh.
