Wait, did you say "hipster" or "disparate group of people that I dislike based on my assumptions and projections despite never having made an attempt to engage with them in any meaningful way?" Those keys are like, right next to each other.

"We enjoy art, but we get the most pleasure out of discussing why we enjoy art, from creating parodies, and from the shared experience of the art."Isn't that just an indication of engagement, though, and not some post-modern detachment? Rather than just passively appreciating art, more people than ever are actively

I don't think Kill List's all that great of a comparison, actually. I guess they're both approaching what could be ridiculous material in a very serious way, but Citadel's much, much more straightforward, without the half-dreamy "what the hell is even happening" feeling that Kill List just nails.
It's still really

Yeah, what reason would she possibly have to suspect that he was gunning for her in particular, and was in possession of intricate details of her daily life, along with vast resources from a career as a super-villain?

"All this conditional on his forecasts for this year being accurate"
That's a thing though when you're talking probabilities. Romney winning doesn't mean Silver and his model are wrong, necessarily, even if it'll be taken that way by everyone who has an axe to grind.  It just means that the less likely of the two

Oh, and Erykah Badu playing with the Cannabinoids at a free outdoor show at SxSW a couple years ago was pretty amazing. In that they started around 45 minutes late and played two or three fairly decent songs before Badu said to the crowd "We're about to take this thing into hyperspace." And then the show just ended. Yeah, Efrim asking the crowd to try to start a Q&A is one of the weirder ones I've been around for. He's pretty quick, but sometimes the exchanges just went on forever…
Two personal favourites are David Bowie responding to a flasher at a stadium show with a blase "Oh, tits. That takes me back," and a band that I can't

I'm pretty sure the only thing the Quebecois hate more than the rest of Canada is America.
