Can we take a second to comment on the weird ass motif this season had? Some episodes were more heavy-handed than others, but I feel like every episode had at least one gratuitous shot of a butt.

I read the first two paragraphs of this and watched the ep having never seen Smash before, and it just came off as bland and somewhat tacky. I'm a big fan of watching horrible episodes of random shows - usually the lack of any emotional connection to the characters helps make them even funnier - but I think in this

I WAS WONDERING THAT ABOUT NICK'S LINE TOO! Totally sounded improvised or something

Shouldn't you also consider daytime TV, though? I feel like talk shows, game shows and soap operas pull in millions of viewers too…

The only thing I've been really disappointed with this half-season was the way they changed Truly. I don't know if they got bad feedback on her, but she went from this monotone, emotionally numb at times, almost Aspergers-esque character whose bluntness and failure to grasp social cues were hilarious, to a normal

GILMORE GIRLS!!!

This is embarrassing but every time they talk about Paunch Burger on Parks & Rec I really want to try one. I mean the whole town is hooked!

I've been wondering that about Melanie and Cozette. Sure, she could totally be straight, but I also feel the wacky worldliness of Cozette would totally include her identifying as pansexual or something. And their blossoming quasi-friendship seems pretty low-stakes if it's just that.

does anyone know who wrote this, or how many episodes they've written for this show before? I thought this episode was silly and funny, but almost all of it didn't really nail the characters. Max was a bit too mean, Alex too dry, and Penny's stuff was witty but her character is so much more one to worry about being a

LUCKY WAS ALWAYS MY FAVORITE SONG!

LUCKY WAS ALWAYS MY FAVORITE SONG!

Yeah I was wondering about Tongue Tied - was that the first time the show's ever used a song for montage? Or just the first time the cast has sung it without being shown singing?

A lot of yearbooks, especially ones for larger public schools, sell ads in the back to local businesses or families to help pay for the production of the book. So parents or families of kids graduating often take out an ad congratulating them and such.

Yeah I vaguely remember the Gilmore Girls version of this was a really good episode…I feel like the episode had all of these emotional high- and low-points and used the enforced stillness and silence upon various characters at different times to contrast that? Or something. But my heart memories tell me it's one of my

I actually think the show totally sees Whoopi's approval sentence as reasonable fodder for Jesse to show up next season in Rachel and Kurt's class.

Rachel's autograph moment was actually what made me choke up after all this. With the empty-ish hallway and all the senior talk, I dunno, it just felt less contrived and more sweet and sentimental than it should have. She signed her first autograph, Todd!

Not that I have anything at all to do with Glee's creative process, but I'm almost 100% sure the stuff you found confusing about Rachel/Quinn/prom queen has to do with fan-pandering.  There is an unwieldy number of people who vehemently support Rachel and Quinn or 'Faberry' as a couple (or at least as friends who
