I kind of fell off AT after Good Mourning myself. I had planned on getting Crimson when it came out, but was dissuaded by a friend's negative review. It's hard to get back into a band when you stop following them, but from what I've heard so far I'll probably pick this up.

You mean, penis-in-vagina?

@Barnaby - I still love the Atomic Fireballs. I never got into the whole swing revival to the extent that my friends did, but I did pick up "Torch This Place" in college and still listen to it regularly. I only wish I'd of had the chance to see them live.

I was briefly obsessed with Deep Blue Something when I was a freshman in high school. Thankfully this passed quickly, but I could never bring myself to actively hate this song.

Face to Face
Hell yeah, I'll stand by them too. Don't Turn Away and the S/T album have never left my rotation. I'll even go on and on that Ignorance is Bliss is a worthwhile album. My only regret is the reunion shows have been nowhere near me.

I think xkcd is perfectly fine for a webcomic. I'm not a "fan" in that I don't get on the boards or get into internet shitslinging over it, but it's a good read over lunch. Questionable Content - now I am a bit of a fan of that one.

I only came across Against Me! after Searching for a Former Clarity, so the transition to the New Wave sound didn't bother me as it did others. I like the band and I'll get their next album and try to see them on tour same as before. Still, I can definitely see where you're coming from. I went back into the catalog

I still like most of what I was into back in the 90's (NOFX, Less Than Jake, etc.), but I'll concede it no longer has the sway or depth I thought it once did. I think most times it's due to a song coming up in shuffle mode - I hear the first few chords of "Sugar In Your Gastank" and it's like I'm 16 again.

I had a roommate in college that absolutely loved this movie. I probably watched it at least twenty time with him, and of course I thought it was awesome. A couple of months back my mother had picked it up at a Redbox and I watched it for the first time in years. The acting was a lot worse than I remembered, and

I don't know about the Canseco shades, but he did have muddin' tires for his truck and owned a dirtbike too. Good call!

True Story
My roommate in college had a big-ass ICP sticker in the back window of his Silverado for a year and a half. Not because he was an ICP fan - he didn't even know it was their logo, he just thought the running cleaver dude looked cool. I never had the heart to tell him, and for the course of over a year he'd

I was once compared to Dave Coulier in college. I look nothing like Uncle Joey, but I've yet to live that one down.

While last night's game was excellent in every way, I still maintain the Boise State - Oklahoma Fiesta Bowl a few years back was the most entertaining game I've ever seen. The trick plays, constant lead changes, going for the win as opposed to a tie, and a post-game wedding proposal - that shit was insane.

The Whitney Way & University Taco Bell was often our preferred taco destination in high school. Although the one on Mineral Point was closer to Belleville, this was were all the West High and Middleton kids went. We called it "Whiter Taco" in their honor.

GhaleonQ - Shall I assume you also listen to the Old Time Radio Drama shows on The Ideas Network on weekends? I've found these old shows to be perfect companions on my Sunday night drive home.

My sole foray was in my freshman year of high school, when I was introduced to it by some guys in the marching band during a weekend trip to some parade up in the Dells. I was more interested in the collecting aspect as opposed to the actual game, mainly since I was unequivocally terrible. I gave up on the game

My father hated Steely Dan more than he hated the VC. I have not idea why, but consequently I have an ingrained dislike of Steely Dan. Although I haven't really listened to their music, I still don't like 'em.

"Walk Hard" is one of my recent favorites, but only a few people I know share my love of this movie. I even recommended it to my parents, who did not enjoy it at all.

My dad had a cassette tape recording of his At San Quentin LP that I was obsessed with as a kid. "A Boy Named Sue" and "Wreck of the Old 97" were my favorites. It wasn't until my freshman year of college, when I really started to buy CDs, that I got the Essential Johnny Cash and then the American albums.

This is true, but seeing as he had to drive through Superior first everything looked much better by comparison.
