His Punisher stuff was great, the MAX stuff moreso then the regular Marvel series. There's an issue called "Tyger" that explains how he does what he does as plausibly as any comic origin story ever did.
I think we talked about this on here like a month ago - the way that sex between anyone other than Jesse and Tulip is presented as grotesque makes it difficult for me to really like them.
He's famous in the right sort of way. You'll find him in the young adult section of most public libraries like some kind of dormant time bomb, gathering dust next to Maus.
I assumed Rupert and/or a bunch of execs actually watched the show and saw the rampant misogyny as the sort of political incorrectness they perceive themselves as the brave champions of, and gave him a lifetime pass.
Damn, those guys got GAME.
Doug Stanhope's blog is mostly about his adventures as a Ron Paul conservative in his kooky left-wing adopted hometown of Bisbee, right there on the NM border.

I have a friend who enjoys Archie comics unironically, and has since childhood. Her birthday is coming up in a few months, and i'm really looking forward to giving her a copy of Last of the innocent.
Later on Gaiman frequently just used the Dreaming as a springboard to tell whatever story he felt like telling that month, w/Morpheus either observing passively or showing up toward the end to resolve things.
Yeah, it's a shame Steve Dillon didn't stick around - the series could have been so very awesome given the cast, but what i've seen of it it just seems like they're running out the clock until the next creative reboot.
Nope. He wanted them to stay in the reinforced basement where they would actually be safe, but he was such a jerk nobody listened to him.
That was discontinued because of complaints of gastrointestinal distress, remember?
