Eh, pretty sure he would have been fine without the Vale surprise.

    lol belle

I will no more hold it against Sansa that she boneheadedly withheld information than I will hold it against Arya that she boneheadedly wandered carefree through Braavos.

Battles of Ice and Fire motherfucker!

Would also be an incredibly stupid plan on his part. No one in the North would follow him. At least the Boltons had a Northern Army of their own.

Fingers crossed she offers a decent explanation in the next episode because after Arya I think I'm kind of reaching my tolerance limit for plot contrivance with this show.

Speaking of which, where the hell was Ghost? If you're gonna splurge, go wolf or go home.

"Who's a good boy?? YOU ARE!!!! Such a good doggy. What a good boy."

The characters are pretty removed from the outside world so it doesn't really matter either way.

James Franco and I were both at Columbia at the same time, so there were all sorts of "running into James Franco" stories going around back then, though the following is, by far, my favorite:

But she wasn't prophesying that Arya was some mythical creature. Just that she'd kill people (true) and that they'd meet again. There's no real reason to have included that if it isn't true. It's not like she attributed a bunch of significance to it. There wasn't a lot of interpretation going on.

Unless you count the ale, har!

SPOILERS The battle they've been talking about all season, and that's directly referred to by the episode title, actually happens. Shocking, I know.

But why give Melisandre the line, "we will meet again," and then not have her meet that character again? I get that our girl gets a bit mixed up with her fire visions from time to time, but from a dramatic standpoint, it's weird to add a line like that into the story if you're not going to make good on it.

Not because of the list. Because when they met, Melisandre literally said, "we will meet again."

But she has to meet Arya again! She's got at least a couple more episodes before she bites it.

Poisoned wine? Pretty sure Jon and Sansa can handle that themselves.

But Melisandre still has to meet Arya again!

I'm not saying it was amazing, but it got Missandei and Grey Worm to smile, so it's counting as a plus in my book.
