I was going to joke that Lupita Nyong'o couldn't have been older than 10 when she had that kid, but apparently she's 33??? Not that 33 isn't young, but I thought she was at most 25.

Despite being a big Whedon fan, I'd also say it's a great premise for a different writer/showrunner. Dushku's mediocre performance didn't help, to be sure, but the show also had a LOT of writing and plotting flaws.
So I'm assuming this is basically just the whole show with the main character and love interest cut out completely? Because Dollhouse with just the supporting characters would be amazing.
But Angel's theme song has rock cello!
I vaguely remember hearing something about some of the actors from the Brotherhood without Banners being in this season. I could see Gendry popping up with them.
So am I completely missing something, or is stopping ALLIE, conceivably, non-violent? They're just asking her to shut down an AI, not fight anybody.
