My mom and I were on the floor, and we're both normally semi-highbrow humor people.

Considering this is apparently their marriage going great, I think Andrew may be a little confused about where babies come from.

Damn it! Screw you 2 pages of comments!

I really hope the message of this show does not turn out to be that Israelis are the real terrorists. Or Obama/American government. Either of these would be unfortunate.

It definitely bothered me that Carrie was like, "Oh boy! A polygraph! There's no way someone trained to do so, as a mole/terrorist likely would be, can fool one of those infallible magic contraptions!" As I mentioned somewhere else, if I learned about this in Psych 101, CIA analysts should definitely know too.

    Speaking of slits…

Would we call that great, non-depressing sex? Comparatively perhaps, but in general?

Unless it turns out Carrie has not only bipolar disorder, but dissociative identity disorder, and her alternate personality, let's just call her Angela, is actually a terrorist.

I mean if I learned polygraphs are unreliable in Intro to Psych, the CIA should probably know as well. Hopefully.

Oh I thought we were talking about Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

I really love that scene. Then again, I really loved them as a couple.

I was half expecting some surprise fourth sibling to pop up in the flashbacks, played by…NINA DOBREV!

It's been a while since I learned the chronology, so correct me if I'm
wrong, but I'm pretty sure Israel would have been Muslim 1000 years ago.
Actually, the Crusades were probably going on. Basically, the Originals would have been Crusaders. Yep. Sounds about right.

It's weird Klaus has a Swedish accent when the rest of his family is British. It's weird their witch friend had a modern American accent. It's weird all witches are black except the top of the heap, who is, of course, white.

You know, a friend forced me to watch that awful Gwenyth Paltrow the country singer movie (in theaters. ugh), and Garrett Hedlund was the best thing about it. So that's…something.

I'm not sure it's fair to say he brushes aside redemption. I think the ending is also a comment on the redemptive journey. It isn't something that ever gets attained, some end goal (represented by the Shanshu); it's a never ending struggle. It's not like there's a point at which you should no longer feel bad for

But when they were there, they were excellent.

Disagree in that I love season 5, agree in that I think it's overrated. I don't think Angel really has a perfect season, or, for me at least, a worst season. It just has a lot of very effective stretches.

A world of agreement, @avclub-884c4beddd8c98bb3b016bdfcc1bcdf8:disqus . [SPOILERS] It doesn't really make sense when Wes remembers his relationship with Lilah, even if it made me happy to hear. It would have been very interesting if he hadn't, and she did, and she was still around when he started seeing Fred, and he

Or they could have just had a different plot, and re-incorporated Lindsey in some other way. It's not like Lilah would have just read the same lines written for Eve. She would have been Lilah.
