My So-Called Life. The one with the homeless angel. Can't believe no one's mentioned it.

Just give up now. Pretend that's where it ended. It will never be good again.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the general consensus is anti-seasons 6 and 7, while 2 and 3 are considered high points. I think by 'vocal group,' he means 'Spuffy shippers.' To be fair, they are quite vocal.
Isn't there a particularly bad episode about hookers or something? Is 'Safe' the one that amuses me because it has Zac Efron?
Close, but no cigar. 'Black Market' is far and away the worst.
Someone else hates A Hole in the World? Yippee! Although, to be fair, I think it's less 'bad' than it is 'overrated'.
Thank you! "Doublemeat Palace," "Inca Mummy Girl," and "Beer Bad" all strike me as somewhat innocuously bad. They're: A) so bad they come back around to funny again; B) Easy to skip without missing anything. "Wrecked" isn't semi-intentionally bad, or so bad it's funny. It's supposed to be serious and important. And…
Maybe I'm just a sucker for swimming and narration, but I loved "The Summer Man". Don spent all season deteriorating. It was nice to see him get at least a little bit back on track.
The Faith arc was awesome (except I'm maybe the only person in the world who hates "Orpheus". Like, passionately), "The Magic Bullet" was awesome, "Home was awesome". I have mixed feelings about the rest.
As was emphasized in "5x5"
Are you saying "The Magic Bullet" was awful? BLASPHEMY
Yeah, for a purported feminist like Whedon there's a lot of weird gender implications of the shit that goes down on Angel. Unless I guess you decide to get all deep and over-analyzey and decide it's secretly a critique of the inefficiency of male heroic figures or something. Obviously.
The only thing I've ever really read on TWoP is Strega's recaps. We disagree about many things (namely Wesley), but she's hysterical. Definitely embarrassed myself in the library on more than one occasion reading those things.
