Yeah, Lazarus is worth checking out. It's a good, lean first issue. Beautiful art too, plus you get a 4-5page essay/reflection by Rucka in the back of the book.

I haven't dipped into The Wake yet. I'm waiting to read it all at once when it gets collected. But I looked through the first issue here at work and goddamn does it look pretty.
What else did you read that stood out? For me, the top three are Hawkeye, Lazarus, and Fury MAX. I also did enjoy Wolverine and the X-Men, Crossed: Badlands, and the pages of Batman/Superman Jae Lee drew.
I finally read The Road, after bringing it with me on every trip for the past three years.

@avclub-28b1819668d7c62501acb9852cad10a9:disqus How could you say that about Douglock?!
Bowie is my girlfriend and I's mutual free pass.
My problems with Bendis aside, I am thankful the man helped bring Luke Cage back into the spotlight. (That being said, I'm a much bigger fan of Azzarello and Corben's Cage miniseries than anything Bendis has done with him.)
I just got really sick of the "let's see what happens when we give this character a different ring! Whoa!" type of storyline that seems to have plagued the GL books since they expanded the spectrum.
How is his Avengers run? I saw that Marvel is (somewhat shamelessly) reprinting it now that he's done Green Lantern and was thinking of maybe picking it up.
Is this the Super Mario Brothers reboot I've been waiting for?
Does anyone know if Steve Holt successfully lobbied to get back on the show?
Seriously. They could cover two or three episodes a week and burn through it. And that way they could get us to shut up about covering it! It's a win-win!
@avclub-d4ab2732ed8ac6a4b2d9734cf4c851d2:disqus Snip snap indeed!
Well this looks wacky!
