Sean Berdy totally nailed that scene. He is a phenomenal young actor. I cannot believe the combination of vulnerability, masculinity, and strength he brings to every performance, surpasses James Dean in my estimation.

I would love to see more of Angelo and the two dads. I would like to see more of Bay and Daphne bonding with Abby, too. I like that Angelo hasn't learned how to sign yet, because it is so true to his character, and people like that do exist. Plus, when he does start to sign, it will mean all the more.

That thought crossed my mind, and then, I remembered that with minors, their court records are completely confidential and sealed. So perhaps her criminal record won't be a part of her application to Gallaudet, even though everything she confessed on the Kansas City Squealer blog is most certainly public knowledge.

I do not think the show is running out of ideas regarding the repercussions of the switch or the exploration of Deaf culture. These writers have an overabundance of good ideas!

It didn't seem way too over the top to me. It is reality in our house. We dance around the living room all the time. We laugh. We bump hips. We listen to music. My family would totally do something like what John did for Kathryn. We are the type of family that if someone accidentally drops his or her fork on the floor

This episode flowed naturally for me. I, too, enjoyed the big dance at the end. The Kennish-Vasquez-Sorrento family IS finally a family.

I seriously doubt it, but Kathryn did imply that she and John have experimented with that in their past.

Constance Marie tweeted pictures of herself in bed, sick with the flu, during the filming of this episode. She even had one picture with an array of medicine nearby. But Lizzy Weiss tweeted earlier today that Constance Marie had also hurt her knee right before filming, and that was why her dance scene was cut.

I go back and forth with Kathryn and John. I can see a really good and believable story either way.

I agree with this post 100%. That's exactly the way I see it, and it IS one of my most favorite things about Switched at Birth. A myriad of relationship possibilities exist on this show, because each character is an individual, is different. The depth with which the writers explore those differences is what draws me

I am not sure, but I have started sharing the link via facebook and twitter (buttons on top right of this page), just in case. The more people who click on the reviews the better.

That's cool. I will take a look at those articles in a minute. Well, that is, unless you advise against me reading the Breaking Bad review. I have not watched any of Breaking Bad yet, and I do intend to watch the series later this year.

I like your posts. A lot. And I enjoy your novel way of expressing your displeasure about spoilers. But do you feel what I shared is truly a spoiler? It was in the promo on live TV for the whole world to see during the last minute of Monday night's episode. Do you turn the channel at the end of every episode so

I agree. Switched at Birth excels, when it represents real life. Stabbings do occur. Our Virginia State Senator, Creigh Deeds, was stabbed by his mentally ill son three months ago. Situations like these certainly bring to light that our country's mental health system needs an overhaul. I respect that the writers are

She did not know how to sign. Recently, she has been tweeting that everyone teaching her on the show has been so helpful.

I like having this space, too, and Carrie's reviews provide a solid analysis. I just shared this page on facebook and twitter and hope it provides some clicks. Now that I know it matters, I will do it every week.

That may be where the writers are going. Bay will need to reinvent herself as an artist. It's a shame in one respect, because she was so talented with her hands. But art is in the mind, and there are other ways to be an artist. Perhaps the new art she creates will be what brings her fame. She may not ever be able to

No idea what is going to happen, but I am getting the strongest vibes that the writers may go the drinking route. It has been a verbalized reality since the pilot episode. It is something Regina has worried about and fretted over for Bay's future, on several different occasions. Bay drank beer with Zarra. She tried to

Yes! I wish we had seen MORE of Emmett, though. He literally lights up the screen with his presence. Watching Emmett in love is like a drug for me. Last night, I actually found myself wishing he would ask Mary Beth out on a date. Not seriously, of course, the whole Travis thing makes that a bad idea. But honestly, I

Yes! And I love that moment when Kathryn suggests that the Toby and Bay go play in the arcade, so she and John can argue in private. Then, John says, "Yeah, here's a couple of bucks. Knock yourself out." And they go right back to arguing without missing a beat. Just like real life.
