Did you know that one of the guys in Fear - I forget who, but not Lee Ving - wrote "Johnny Are You Queer?" TRUE STORY. The original lyrics were meaner, though. Ving talked the guy into giving the song away and it became a huge hit for Josie Cotton.

Funny story: Peter Criss's wife was actually named Becky, so the original lyric was "Beck, I hear you calling." Gene and Paul were worried that people would assume Criss was serenading Jeff Beck, so the name was changed.

I recently watched this episode, and it's hilarious. Steve Austin, while on a road trip with the robot, becomes suspicious that his buddy has been replaced, not when he lifts a fucking CAR, but when he repeats himself. Geared towards children, indeed!
Yeah, on the season 1 DVD, one of the producers explains that they quickly realized that sped up film just looked ridiculous. But slowing it down, while counter-intuitive, worked.
