Totally agree. I think it's all part of Cross's hubris. He needs an editor! His stand-up hammers that point home for me. There's tons of stuff in there I really like, but I constantly come away from it unamused.

Glad to see that people don't seem to be falling over themselves to praise David Cross in this instance. I like the guy a lot, but I also think he gets a pass on a lot of unfunny stuff he does.

The trailer comforted me on Catwoman. I've never liked the character, but Anne Hathaway is a pretty solid actress and she seemed to work well in those scenes.

I read Ricky's blog pretty consistently. He has essentially said the same thing over and over. He'd do it again if he was asked. He said this days after the last show.

To paraphrase, the show is funny, but it's the same thing over and over again. Take out the funny part and you have the Modern Family reviews.

There is no clear protagonist in Watchmen. It can be spun that Veidt is the protagonist as his actions prevent doomsday.
