King wrote that bit for King. I imagine he still rereads it with some frequency, and quite a few more unreleased variants might come out if his full papers are ever published.

BUT WHEN DOES LUKE SKYWALKER FIGHT THE BIRD GUY?

Reagan!
Reagan.

Cops, come and try to steal my crops

Have fun, but stop being so invested in this "last show" bullshit. I'm sure the guy is even sincere about it right now, but within 5 years he's going to have bills to pay - or his old buddies in the band are - and there's going to be an easy way to fix that.

Better, actually.

Well, it would be a surprise if he lived in actual Bushwick.

I'm not too too familiar with this band, and I don't know how popular they truly are, but I do find that if you don't panic and wait it out most of the time prices will go down substantially nearer the show as scalpers are faced with the prospect of eating the tickets. New York is a big city, but MSG is a big venue;

Screw you Ace Hunter.

I'm not really in favor of this, but…
…I must admit it would make for a wonderful issue of "What If?" I wish Marvel would get on that.

littlealex, you're right. I just listened to some of my old Quicksand stuff for the first time in about 10 years, and it holds up. Still, I can definitely hear some Nu-Metal buildup in them.

WOODSTOCK 99!
I feel a bunch of awesome stories coming on! Anyone who was there, start your engines!

Nah, I hear you on the angst-y thing for musicians at the time…but society at large, shee-oot man people were making a TON of money and spending about as much. Internet bubble blah blah and all that. Maybe you didn't SAY you were rich, but you made sure you had that $8,500 professional range that people would note

It was well put, but it must be noted that such scenes existed well before Durst was even in high school. Which does tend to deflate the point, if only a bit.

Yes! Clinton era! Cobain made boatloads of money, but he was so, so ashamed of his earning power.

Plus I will cop to liking Quicksand quite a lot and they were Bizkit-y in a way, or rather vice-versa.

I was just a little too old to really appreciate Limp Bizkit or pay much attention to them, but am I to understand that Bush (the president) started that band or something?

"Making money…and flaunting it…"
"Was okay again?"

Regular, I confess I couldn't wait for it…I skipped right to the end.

I think all the other mannequins in the department store are still awaiting her return so that they can have some time on the outside.
