I'm also of the "well, SOMETHING'S gonna kill you" school of thought.
That's what she said!
Jay corrected her with just the right amount of EMPHASIS.
TimTom
I liked that Reverend TimTom's final advice seemed to be what sealed the deal for Axl: "C'mon man…It's just one night."
I actually just spent an evening watching Jason Eisener and a crew of filmmakers shooting his next movie. The scene involved people coming out of a movie theatre, and the art department decorated the lobby by putting up a couple of posters for "Hobo." I'm hoping they'll let me keep one.
ahem… 'til the sun FELL down.
What was the other crossed out name on the title card?
I thought, though, that they finally went some way towards addressing this issue. According to her, the gang only hang out about 3 hours a day. I'm not sure WHICH three hours, though, because they're often hanging out at breakfast for some reason.
Edit?
"he'd come to Canada when I was first starting, and he'd always [bomb]."
I'm determined to give "Infinite Jest" another go. I was so confused when I finished it that I gave the book away (and it was a gift!), and never looked back. But since then, I think I've changed in a way that I might appreciate the complexity much more.
Random tidbit…
Her doing those Cisco commercials also turned out to be good for some of the locals in Nova Scotia. The classroom of kids all ended up getting fat royalty checks (several thousand dollars, if I remember the story correctly) because they had "speaking" parts in them, thus changing making them more than…
I liked that Cam and Jay got to be actually gay and seemingly comfortable. Mitchell is always so nervous and twitchy that it was nice to see them actually enjoying themselves.
@37…iTunes seems clunky because it demands that you do all of your work on the PC/Mac, instead of the iPod itself. It demands to be updated at least every other week, and it's a 90+MB download. You can't just drag-and-drop your choice of music in your choice of folders, you have to organize it like iTunes wants it…
I was kind of surprised he even notices girls at all, but then he admitted that his plan to woo her involved talking about fonts, so that's cool.
I'm pleased that she's finally taken off her Cross Country sweater. She wore it continuously for the first few episodes of this season. And if I'm not mistaken, it got a little more grotty every time.
font
The font is CopperPLATE Gothic, not CopperTONE Gothic. Jeez, get your fonts right.
Well, they don't ever go upstairs or come from there. Their place seems to be all on one level.
You did this
I liked Travis's repeated explanations throughout the episode about how his girlfriend had to leave them alone or their combined "hive mind" would bring her down. At the end they're having the animal funeral and he looks at her and says something like "You caused this." Good buildup.
All I Want for Christmas…
Is a New Title.
