Didn't you already tell us what you were watching, and that you did catch some of Idol? That was indulgent nonsense.

I actually think Megan's got a really neat voice (neato! swell!). I think with some pitch-correction software and the right producer, she would easily be just as successful as anyone else out there in the pop music mix. Lil, Kris, Matt, even Danny would all sound like something we've already heard. At least I'd…
Well, apparently everyone in the audience had heard of Studio 57. They all loved it.
Poco?
And on a completely unrelated note, I think I saw them in concert in high school, maybe opening for Richard Marx? Is that possible? Could I be any more horrified at that double bill?
For a lot of us slightly older folks on facebook, it has been, i think, a startling revelation to find out what so many people are up to who (key point) we never ever thought we'd hear from or see again. But I think for me it's reached a limit of sorts…I've pretty much found out about anyone I ever knew, and I'm…
No, Arthur Dent taught her how to fly…throw yourself at the ground and miss.
Yeah, especially after he said the previous night, "There's no way you can win this competition."
Holy shit. that is all kinds of crazy.
I'd hoped maybe Stevie would bring Scott a pair of dark glasses.
So, I realize that some people here are in on it, but Claire, who is that awful person in your profile pic?
The ground coming up to meet me after a whiskey bender. Wasn't a movie, but I stand by my answer.
My guess is that he had a marker that he faked her out with…No crayon would mark skin like that, even on top of make-up.
I think it's hard to know if people "mess up" the lyrics since they re-arrange them and cut and paste the ones they want to use. I would think that would make it easier to fake your way through something…If you start singing the wrong verse, it COULD be intentional.
I think you need a O' in there…maybe Megan Joy O'Corkrey
I kind of thought since it was Motown, back in the days of the 3 minute record, you could easily hit all the important points of the song within the given 90 seconds.
She skipped the crazy dance for the most part this week. Perhaps she's been watching the old performances. Shit, I dance better than that, and I wouldn't dance unless there was a gun pointed at my head.
@ Yummsh,
It's a two hour show (no TiVo here)…We need all the distractions we can get.
This sentence needs another word, I think…
" On the one and, during the Motown retrospective I was once again by the number of hits the label generated and what it meant culturally"
I did, though, like his admission that, you know what? I've made it this far, and that's pretty all right with me. I imagine that's 110% true.
