Right Girl, I knew a young woman who was named Peregrine, on her birth certificate and everything. Guess what her parents were? Artists!

Or octopi. Very intelligent creatures, octopi…

I liked Dan's line later — something like, "even I'm not drunk enough to do that!"

I didn't have a problem with the planted evidence, either. I got the impression from the beginning that Dan is basically a tolerated nuisance to the police department because of that thing he did — don't remember the details, but something like saving the life of the governor's daughter. So while such a tactic would

His hunchback is so sweet and thankful of the attention…

I often find myself imitating David Cross's jubilant freeze-frame at the end of the Devastator commercial, when I'm faking excitement about something.

I think this is a show that really builds up in amusement over the course of watching the webisodes. I binged them all at once and at times I was breathless with laughter… later, I watched them in smaller chunks with a friend, and I found it less hilarious. Don't know what two-episode viewing with a week

What's Hung About?
It's easy to view Hung as a show about male prostitution, or at least a show that centers on a dude who prostitutes himself. It could be read as having an underlying theme of how various characters are prostituting themselves, with a side of "critique of capitalism."

Hm, seems to me that the vignettes relate to the stand-up bits, or maybe extrapolate from them. In structure, perhaps it's akin to Dr. Katz in some ways.

I think I'm about half a letter grade above most of you on this show. I'd certainly agree, that many, perhaps most, even, of last year's episodes were agreeable-but-bland, but now and again, they really hit their stride and made me like the characters, feel some measure of wonderment, and admire the creative spin on a

I don't know whether he was being disingenuous, but he seemed surprised by the suggestion all his work has been self-portraiture. "Are you a narcissist?"Simon asked him genially, and he was all, like, "Huh? What? Me?"

Oh yeah, Lucky! That was a good one. I mourn with you.

I think my favorite story arc in Barney Miller was when Harris went undercover as a porno producer and ended up trying to make, like, the Citizen Kane of skin flicks.

I did sort of like the way she kept… petting… that thing in her hands, with a vacant gaze. To me, that was the most disturbing aspect of her piece; although it was not all that disturbing and certainly not shocking, I did find it somewhat interesting.

Hm, while I agree with what you're saying about the pieces on display, I'm not sure I do agree that it's easy to be shocking. I was wracking my brains last night, trying to figure out exactly what *would* shock me, and I just don't think there's much at all that would — at least, from art. Seems like most of the

I think in Erik we see one of the problems of being an artist who doesn't know much about art (hate to call him an outsider artist, which seems so cliche, but maybe that's the right term). Maybe his technique is fine, but without a wider experience of contemporary art and art history, he doesn't realize his own work

I noticed how their breath was showing in one scene — thanks for the insider info, Goodguysinsider!

The Target detergent aisle always sets my allergies off. I've never been sure why people like their clothing to smell like something — whatever it is. The dish washing detergent smelling like flowers puzzles me, too — I want to smell my food, not my plate!

I thought it was cute how he asked him first if it was okay to give him a hug. A polite, if unhinged, maverick cop…

I wonder if the lack of disagreement is a way to present a panel of judges as authoritative. I would think that if they were to disagree too much, the judges would appear to not know enough to be making essentially life-changing decisions for these artists/chefs/designers/hair stylists/other professionals. I wonder if
