It appears that way. But we know next episode he'll give a semi-plausible explanation. "They wouldn't come back if you weren't dead." Two questions, did Ben expect Locke to come back, and why did knowing Eloise push Ben over the top?

Liz81- No, a third axis is not needed, since the question is how much cat-talk one would theoretically tolerate, so the actual amount of cat-talk is irrelevant.

The writers have addressed this on one of the DVD features (I think it was the Q&A from the Office convention on the season 4 set). They sort of side-stepped it, saying something like "There are plenty of documentaries that follow their subjects around for years, right?" But I do like the only airing on foreign TV

Did you miss the "To be Continued"? You shouldn't have closure after only part one. Also I doubt the writers knew for sure if NBC was going to air it as a supersized or a two parter when they wrote it, so they hedged. I'm sure the superbowl ep will seem similarly unfulfilling with the Pam's parents subplot when cut

Musician
Anyone else think that the member of Rousseau's crew with the guitar(?) case later becomes the musician that programs the code in the Looking Glass station? Just a guess, but they were so vague about it back in season 3 it always seemed like we'd meet that character.

Aired out of order?
Did anyone else feel that last weeks episode was supposed to air after this one? I seem to recall there being a talking head about Stanley trying to be calmer and not let the little stuff bother him.

I can believe it. I have some short female friends that weigh in the 95-100 range and they aren't unhealthily skinny. It's all about height. 86lbs on someone that's like 4'11'' sounds about right, if they're skinny.

No joke, a friend of mine in college got one of those e-mails a few years ago and thought it was for real. Granted this was before it was a commonly known thing, but still. She told us about it at dinner, and was all "Should I do it, or do you think it's a scam?" I proceeded to mock her without mercy. I had forgotten

The Who
Closest I have ever been to engaging in an actual adult fight was when someone at a party flatly claimed that The Who suck. When he proceeded to say that Queen was a superior band, and that Pete is something but a kiddy-toucher, I was damn well near in fisticuffs, talked down by some friends who thought it was

The photo is not supposed to be set at Oxford, they simply used that same exterior for the Monetary (most evident in the final flashback scene with Desmond loading the wine for Penny). They also used that same exterior for the Church Charlie attends back in a season one flashback. Yes, I watch all of the DVD behind

Failure!

Yes, I believe so. I liked how that information surmised from the comic-con video was revealed in the first scene of the premier, as opposed to last seasons comic con video with the bunnies (hints of which were scattered about the season, until the reveal in the finale). My guess is the island settles into a groove

She's also seen in a picture on the desk of Desmond's head monk in the Desmond "brotha" origin episode.
