I still think the Undertaker was just going to replace Mike. He and his bodyguards seemed fairly at ease when they entered the building and he reached in for a handshake when Mike entered the room. At the very least, I feel like they were going to keep Mike around until he'd briefed them on the situation in Fargo and

After getting a face full of scalding hot water, it looks like Hanzee Dent is a little closer to Harvey Dent now.

Chet's shirt is what came to mind for me, but I think Bobby Bacala wore it a few times on the Sopranos too.

I'm inclined to agree that killing Dodd was Hanzee's decision, but it will be interesting to find out what Floyd and Hanzee said to each other over the phone (which would have happened after the gas station scene).

I imagine the film-husband attempting to sacrifice himself to the Nazis to save his wife and allow her to live a new life will also come into play as far as the Ed/Peggy story goes.

It's good to see Peter Jackson doing a smaller project. It gives me a little bit of hope that he'll eventually direct an episode of Ash vs. Evil Dead, which seems like a perfect show for him (well, apart from the 30-minute run-time of course).

And following up on all the UFO foreshadowing from this season, she'll be solving intergalactic crimes. Naturally, the majority of the alien population she encounters will also be polite, unassuming, and speak in Midwestern accents.

I haven't seen the first season in a while, but isn't Lou talking to Gus' daughter when he says that? So Molly was the stepmom he was talking about.

I can't tell if this is supposed to be serious or a parody of a fired up foxnews user, but thanks for the laugh either way!

It's 4:30, time for milking!

I get the feeling Peggy is gonna end up pinning the murder on Ed, using the bruise to prove that he forced her to go along with the plan.

"The look doesn't bother me. It's a substantial change from the Ledger look, but still says 'deranged psycho.'"

For those curious, it looks like a Youtuber has uploaded both versions. Here's the non-War of the Worlds ending:

Was this episode supposed to end with a War of the Worlds track? Weird, here in New Zealand the episode just ended with a variation on the standard Fargo theme (from the movie and season 1).

I thought it was pretty funny how they managed to synchronise their bird-flipping routine.

He had a baby brother, a fuck-up in every way!

Parody or not, that was a pretty entertaining video. The narrator, the eerie music, the constant echoing/repeating of movie lines, the screen getting rotated sideways and upside down… all great stuff!

Sometimes I wonder if these conspiracy theorists are ever worried they're going to get these filmmakers in trouble. If I was Robert Zemeckis and had filmed clues that would expose the shadowy 911 perpetrators/time-travelers I had been in league with, I'd be sweating bullets right now.

The story of Jason and the Argonauts basically did that, taking a bunch of Greek heroes, sticking them together on a ship and sending them off on an adventure.

I imagine he would have got some good usage out of those slide transition effects.
