Heard of U2. We will never get to him actually hearing them.
Yeah, I should do that. I did see one episode of Bajillion Dollar Properties and thought it was pretty hilarious.
Sometimes I wake up in a cold sweat of guilt because I haven't subscribed to SeeSo yet. I kind of wish Scott hadn't asked me to subscribe to two new things in the span of a few months. Or I wish that Howl and SeeSo were consolidated, since they are clearly targeting the exact same group of people.
I still think they may be the funniest things I've ever seen. I'm in awe of them. Fortunately I have not really crossed paths with douchebros since college so nothing ever spoiled them for me.
I'm late but this is really delightful. It's like watching two people fall in love in real time. And despite John's description of British relationships they're both so open about it! "I'm having a great time." "This is the happiest I am capable of being."
It's like calling it "bullying" when one kid beats the shit out of another. I call that "assault and battery."
I'm a straight woman and every time I see McKinnon do anything I feel sexiness radiating from her in bludgeoning waves.
I decided to watch "This Is The End" (non-stoned) last night after reading these lists/comments. It made me laugh really hard several times, which is honestly all I want from a comedy. Also, there's a certain type of dude-ly gross-out humor that typically doesn't appeal to me and that I just chalk up to gender…
Oh did it really? I didn't see that - thanks for letting me know. Still… it's small comfort for someone like me who thinks it is one of the great ambitious subversive and glorious works of art of the 21st century I SHALL MOST CERTAINLY SHUT UP NOW
I'm not sure how to take this since I'm pretty sure I was one of those commenters…
Jon started in 1999 and Indecision 2000 was when it really started to blow up, so I think it happened pretty quickly actually.
In fairness it's worked pretty well for them.
I'm the sort of annoying person who whines endlessly about Hannibal, but to the best of my knowledge it never received a single Emmy nomination, and even if I set aside the acting and writing and other big name awards, the idea that any other show has even come close when it comes to cinematography and ESPECIALLY…
I remember being happy that Weekend Update was always on at roughly the same time so I could watch Norm and nothing else.
I love the implication that she is laughing at the opening credits.
I love that episode though. I think they come across as pretty normal - if very wealthy - affectionate former coworkers.
"I told them you didn't! And I laughed and I laughed!"
I loved Heidi Swedberg's performance as Susan so I sincerely hope she doesn't take any of this personally. "I taped 'Mad About You'!"
The WHAS series is better than the movie, and the series is probably not in the top 15 of best TV comedies of the 2000s. So I guess in lieu of watching Frances Ha I should just keep re-watching 30 Rock.
