Is Use Your Illusion a good album? I'm asking seriously because I never really listened to it. I really liked a lot of Appetite, being a sort of post-punk person who appreciated speed and rawness, but everything I heard off of Use Your Illusion sounded so bloated to me.

I miss Kurt Loder, MTV's dad.

I don't know what this means, but pretend we're in a physical room together. I am trying to end our conversation to find someone else to talk to, or even more likely I just want to leave to be alone and listen to PJ Harvey in my car. This happens all the time in real life, but on the internet it's harder to pull off,

Hoo boy. Yeah, I read her autobiography and was like "…okay then." I mean, obviously she's had a fascinating life, but she also does seem eccentric to say the least.

Yeah, sorry kiddies but I've kind of suddenly lost interest in this conversation. I accept all responsibility for abandoning the argument and will concede that you've… won, I guess? I'm a deeply flawed human being, unlike Woody Allen.

What did I claim to be right about? That it's offensive to suggest that adopted children aren't a real family? Yeah, you know what, I think I will stand by that one, facts be damned.

This comment is ridiculous to me. And regardless of how you or Woody Allen feel about Mia Farrow and her children, you have no idea how those children felt and feel about each other. I'm not really interested in any commentary that dismisses their sibling relationships. Families are complicated, and this attitude

I didn't say it made him a pedophile. I said it somewhat tilted the scales for me, personally, and my personal opinion is ultimately irrelevant.

This seems to me a well-written article that is more about PR, journalism (particularly entertainment journalism), and the law than it is specifically about Dylan Farrow and Woody Allen.

Meaning she maintained a good relationship with the Sinatras? I've got plenty of non-relatives that consider me part of the family. I haven't heard of any living Sinatras supporting the idea that Ronan is Frank's kid.

Ronan definitely looks like an exact combo of Sinatra and Mia. And I personally think Mia is… interesting, and a little wacky. But from Ronan's perspective, the paternity thing is irrelevant. He grew up believing Woody Allen was his father, and Woody Allen considered Ronan his son; ergo, Woody Allen is Ronan Farrow's

I was in the car listening to it today and I hit the steering wheel so hard when I heard that line that I hurt my hand.

The second Boston show has to be one of the greatest CBB eps of all time.

"Donald Trump says he has a great relationship with the blacks. Unless the Blacks are a family of white people, I bet he’s mistaken.” - Seth Meyers, 2011

For me, there is absolutely no scenario in which a man marrying his children's sister will ever be okay. I think of the concept of "father," and I think of my own father, and just… not in a million fucking years would a rational loving adult man with children that he truly cared about pull that shit. That is a degree

Thanks very much for the full quote.

Yeah, I don't know what it is - I guess it would be ridiculous to call things like NYSU or Spontaneanation high concept, but I do prefer less formal foofaraw when it comes to PFT. Just put him and Gourley in a room together and turn on a camera, done.

Tompkins doesn’t offer any reasons for why the show was canceled

I do love that after all the upheaval and musical desks of the past several years, people are coming back around to Conan, who has always been the funniest.
