Quantum Leap! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE.
Quantum Leap! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE.
Oh, absolutely. Shirley has been at least as strong this season as she was at any point in the show. She's made perfect sense this season, and although she hasn't had any big arcs (hard to in 13 episodes) she's been funny and real pretty consistently. Jeff's been pretty consistent too (not perfect, but mostly there),…
Really, the most sensible thing Harmon can do is stay away, because then people will forever be saying 'They shouldn't have kicked him off'. If he comes back, he runs the risk of people saying 'They shouldn't have brought him back', which isn't as nice.
You know, if the choice came down to that or the original cast, I have no idea which I'd rather watch.
Plus, it's the fourth season anyway. Tricky time for any TV show, let alone one that's lost its showrunner. They got well on track by the end of the season, and hopefully that'll keep going into season 5 (and 6 and the movie. Of course.)
I very, very rarely use it (usually just for competitions and the like that require it).Same response as Todd up top? (I've tried searching, but Community is a vague term and #sixseasonsandamovie is only used by those who still want that)
I actually came here expecting a B minimum, if not an A. I thought it was the best they've done all season; the characters zipped wonderfully at the start, and despite twigging immediately that it was Jeff's fantasy (or perhaps because of?) I thoroughly enjoyed the darkest timeline stuff, which made sense as a fantasy…
I think it's a bit marmite. Actually, I really disliked it to start with (Troy having such a bad evening left quite a nasty aftertaste, and Shirley and Pierce both wound up sad), but I've enjoyed it more since. It's deep, although I'm not sure it's as deep as some have suggested.
I dunno what the rest of you guys saw, I thought this was the best of the season. From the opening barbs to the character moves, it just felt right.

Wasn't a fan of that joke, because it didn't actually make sense. I mean, no-one actually talks like that! The setup has to make sense, or the punchline is rendered redundant. Example:
'Pepper, sort me out, would you? This erection is incredibly painful.'
Excellent work, there. I'd mash up 'Racks and Penetration', so you can make it the spoonered abbreviation RnP. Or Racks and Pen. Or Tommy's 'Place'.
More thought went into this title than:
Brave
Rambo
Fast and Furious
The Final Destination
Star Trek
Moon
The Good Life. Although two specials followed it, the episode 'Anniversary' is beautiful, funny, and heartbreaking, and brings me to tears every time, before a reminder of the spirit of the characters and why they've meant so much for four series. A fantastic finale, even if it wasn't technically the last episode.
I thought it was the best they've done this season (and definitely the 'truest' Community), and reason behind the motif was a nicely tragic one. It would have been better to get a proper emotional rise out of Britta (being dumped via friend is still going to sting, no matter the context), maybe even some tears between…
"Detractors of the musical genre like to describe the moment their eyes start to roll as folks break into song. That’s the exact moment that I clasp my hands to my chest as my eyes turn into little hearts. Enjoy your muggle existence, haters. I’ll take the magic."
Oddly, I hear Renee Zellweger's going to be playing her in the film.
True, and it's a great pity that he was stuck with that. And the misunderstanding of intent between him and the network didn't help matters at the start. I'm very grateful though that we got the good stuff we got (and wasn't it good?).
Oh, absolutely. My point is that that he didn't do that from the start. If he'd been smarter about it (or if he'd been allowed to) then he'd have all but dropped the character of Echo at the beginning, and written about the part of the premise that was actually interesting; the Dollhouse. When he did, that's when the…
