I'm always amused when I watch 90s movies where a cell phone is shorthand for demonstrating that a character is rich.

Comrade President has already taken to Twitter to blame the debacle on the Dems.

I agree that Dems need a message, especially for the governorship elections next year, which, quite honestly, should probably be our focus more than Congress. Take back a lot of governorships in big states, and gerrymandering becomes much less of a problem.

RoboCop was filmed here in Dallas (which is why Detroit seems to have stolen several downtown Dallas landmarks, such as Reunion Tower and Fountain Place), and back in 2012, I attended a 25th anniversary screening, after which Peter Weller did a Q&A about the film. That was a pretty cool evening.

Jessup, I want to know what you're hiding/
I think I'm entitled to the truth!/
You're credibility with me is sliding/
It's about to go completely poof!/
So tell me about that faithful night/
The one where the private ended up dead/
I know it was you that gave the green liiiiiiiiiiiight!/

Kinda dull. With the 7-year-old at Grandma's for the weekend, the bf and I watched Logan on Friday. I liked it, and it was a fitting sendoff to both Jackman and Stewart from the series, but I'm not a huge fan of superhero movies needing to be super-gritty and depressing.

"We'll get the kid from Modern Family! And we'll salute the history of the franchise by casting Emma Stone as Aunt May, even though the character isn't Asian!"

I have vague memories of a dream where Robin Williams saved me from an earthquake. I can't remember if I dreamed that before or after he died.

Expect Comrade President to invite R. Kelly to the White House any day. They have so many similar interests.

"No, you don't understand! He was 13, not 10! So it's ok!"

You seem to think that Nevada is a bright blue state. It's not. It's probably among the more blue of the purple states, but it's still purple. And from what I understand, Sandoval is widely popular in the state. This isn't to say he would certainly get elected Senator next fall if he chose to run. But I don't

Yeah, that "illegal debate question" thing struck me as odd, as well. I guess its technically stealing, but since CNN didn't take any legal action, it's hard to really get worked up on it.

Sandoval is term limited, so he's done in 2019 no matter what. That said, he's popular enough that he'd undoubtedly be an overwhelming favorite for re-election if he was able to run again. Heller, not so much.

Just don't say that thrice.

On Tuesday, after Comrade Junior's fourth story about the meeting in four days, a lot of family loyalists went on the record to praise Junior for his honesty and transparency. I find that hysterical and insane. I mean, I understand, if you like them for whatever reason, you wanting to show your loyalty, but if you

I suddenly want Hamilwho The Musical so very very much.

So, one of the One Directioners?

He had a supporting role on some TBS sitcom a couple years ago, but it got cancelled quickly. Weirdly, the commercials I remember seeing for said sitcom (the title of which I don't remember), failed to even mention his name. It was odd, especially since the commercials for that Danny Masterson sitcom that was on

True, but he kind of turns into a straight-up Bond villain by the end, when he tries to melt Frosty. Good thing for the Santa ex machina ending.

No hate for Hook? It's been a long while since I saw it, but I remember it being a bloated, boring mess.
