Well, given that Encino Man represents the third-best acting performance of multiple Academy Award-winner Pauly Shore, that's high praise indeed.

If I already didn't know he was monumentally stupid, this would prove it. How the fuck could anyone think being President of the United States would be an easy job? I mean, didn't anyone think to show him a picture of Obama in 2009 vs. what he looked like in 2016? Or pics of W. from 2001 and 2009? That much aging…
"Tonight, Young Miss Marple teams with a young, fussy, vacationing Belgian policeman to figure out how ten dead bodies came to be on a deserted island!"
"It remains to be seen how this particular movie will differ from previous adaptations of Little Women…"
Did anyone click on the article because they misread the name as Robin Thicke?
Bravo also used to air foreign and arty movies unedited and commercial-free. Sometime in the early 90s, they started cropping the frame if a scene had nudity to eliminate it, much to my annoyance, since I had figured out that foreign and arty movies were usually a good source to see naked people.
They ran a lot of British mystery shows from the late 70s/early 80s, several years after PBS had ran them. I remember Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes, Joan Hickson's Miss Marple, a Lord Peter Whimsy series, and various other adaptions of British mystery novels.
Rush Limbaugh managed to get 4 different women to marry him. So has Rupert Murdoch. Donald Trump has been married 3 times. For some reason, there are some women who are attracted to horrible men.
Assuming that those pictures are of that Alex Jones, I have to admit he was pretty attractive back in the day. I'm still rather skeptical that he managed to bag 150 ladies before he got his driver's license, but looking like that, he probably was able to get some girls into bed with him.
I'm still trying to get my head wrapped around "Taco Bell chefs".
Fabulous secret powers were revealed to me the day I held aloft my magic sword and said "By the power of Greyskull".
I loved Thunder Punch He-Man! Of course, it was insanely easy to go through your entire batch of caps in about 20 minutes, but oh, what glorious 20 minutes they were!
Apparently, McG was a childhood nickname. Why he didn't start going by Joseph Nichol once he reached adulthood, I can't tell you.
Hey, I loved the original cartoon when I was a kid! And I turned out…oh, wait. Yeah, nevermind.
[awaits gritty Ghost Busters reboot. No, not the one we got last year. The other Ghost Busters. The one with the monkey]
Mexico City is a more realistic expansion/relocation prospect than London, since it's on the same continent and is in the Central Time Zone. However, between the language barrier, the distance from the US (closer than London, but still pretty far), and the perceived crime rate, I would expect to see plenty of…
The Seahawks don't want a team in Portland because the Seahawks would regard a Portland-based team as direct competition, even if the cities are three hours apart. The Seahawks are the team of the Pacific Northwest. While TV ad money I don't believe is a factor, NFL teams control their own radio networks, and losing…
I think, with the LA and Vegas markets off the table now, the NFL might have just painted themselves into a corner. The largest market without a team now is Orlando, which is easy driving distance of both Jacksonville and Tampa Bay, and there's no way in hell that either the Jags or the Bucs will allow a team to move…
I have a friend who works for ESPN in Bristol I've been checking his FB wall all day to see if he still works for ESPN. I'm guessing he does, since about an hour ago, his wife tagged him in that "Guess which concert I didn't go to!" meme that's been going around today. I'm going to assume if he had been laid off,…
The next to feel the pinch will be the sports leagues themselves, since next time their broadcast contracts come up, they're probably not going to find any takers at what they're currently getting paid. The one exception—for now—is the NFL, but even their ratings are beginning to slip.
