It's a whole night of new Must See TV! Ross might finally tell Rachel how he feels, and George has a problem with his new, gorgeous girlfriend!

The difference being that Harry and the Hendersons is actually a pretty good movie.
But…but…but…it has Alec Baldwin essentially reprising his Glengarry Glen Ross character for an entire movie—-as a baby!!!
It would have had to be a write-in vote. McMullin wasn't on the ballot in Texas.
That's where they were in the supermarket near my old place, near the cans of Spotted Dick.
In this issue, Duff plays with his Dink, and Webelos Woody discovers that Pee Wee is actually Jumbo.
They were the tinkertoy family, right? I also think they had a similar comic with a family of bears, but that might have been in Ranger Rick.
I think of them as Donuts With a Lot of Potential, So I Hope It Gets Renewed, But It Is Airing on CBS, So…Yeah,,,
I doubt The Crazy Ones getting a renewal would have saved his life, but I still marvel that CBS had a sitcom starring Robin Williams and couldn't make it a hit. Of course, this is the same network that treated a sitcom starring the biggest female movie star in America as a redheaded stepchild for its entire run.
I haven't read the books, but I did see both movie versions, and felt that the American remake was pretty superfluous, not to mentioned it completely telegraphed who the villain was by hiring Stellan Skarsgard. Craig and Mara made it watchable, as did Fincher's direction, though outside of that James Bond-like credit…
Given that DaFoe's voice only shows up in the post-credits tag scene, it's pretty nice they're letting him win along with the rest of the cast.
There's a very good chance he got more money for his 10 seconds in that Geico ad than he did for this entire film.
Um…wow…um…wow…I am…um…wow…um…what the fuck?
Which is probably why Schneider is the only character from the original who was adapted for the remake.
Sex and the City had more than a few strands of Golden Girls DNA in it, as well. I'd argue that the characters on SATC are a lot closer to younger versions of the Girls than the Hot in Cleveland quartet was.
A few years ago, I saw a stage parody starring 4 drag queens. The "plot" had something to do with the Girls trying to have more sex than Lance Bass, who had moved in next door.
While a show starring older actresses would be welcome, I don't think a straight remake would work. Redoing One Day at a Time is ok because, other than the title, theme song, and basic plot, the show has largely been forgotten. A Golden Girls remake would likely be crushed under the weight of the original series,…
She got 12 straight Emmy nominations for this. However, she never won.
True, but there was one episode where an unknown Tom Hanks had a pretty big role.
Even CBS was getting tired of it by the end. In a pretty blatant attempt to kill it, they scheduled season 12 against Friends. I'm sure that competition in no way inspired the episode "Murder Among Friends", where the producer of a hit sitcom about 20-somethings was murdered.
