For all its shortcomings (and general shittiness), I appreciate that Glee has the balls to wear its colours without sacrificing the 'sexuality portion of homosexuality.

Like any kind of prejudice, it comes in all shapes and sizes. It's not that the bar is low. Any bar is impossible for something as broad as homophobia. I'd say all it takes is consistency, and Modern Family is pretty consistently insulting.

As a gay man, I can honestly say that the Cam and Mitchell storylines on this show are trite and annoying as hell. I'd even call them a bit homophobic.
