Kind of seems to me that this episode was setting up Mystery Dungeon, as it was supposed to air before it originally. The way they aired would imply a later story where Ice King tries to make them real, but it would be better as a more self-contained 2 episode arc the way I think the creators envisioned it

I actually felt like he had already been on the show, he seemed like such a natural fit

I'd like a rundown of the changes in the staff, because Magan Ganz's other episodes have been SO much stronger than how this one turned out.

This is my list. Into to Stats made me fall in love with the show, and Epidemiology impressed the hell out of me when I saw it. Something about hitting the genre episode home run twice (Modern Warfare having been the first slam dunk) just floored me when I saw it

I remember S2, where there was an actual arc where Troy was becoming more of a man, and then in the finale where he had his little power struggle type thing with Jeff, and I thought that would continue into S3. And then S3 pushed him into an air conditioning story that didn't actually do much of anything for his

I kind of like him. He's no breakout character or anything, but he's enjoyably dickish enough. His plot function is also transparent, but he's a very functional plot function.

I would disagree and say that while the original line is funny, having its opposite appear and make less sense seems like a callback just for the sake of a callback. I guess I'm a little less open to the indulgent self-reference though, because while I find AD seasons 1 and 2 unimpeachable, the S3 callbacks were very

I mean, they're vaguely amusing, but by no means are they the pinnacle of this show's dialogue, or even what this show's dialogue should be aiming for when actually clever, novel dialogue could be there in its place. It's like canned joke substitute - edible, but not preferable to cooked food (or a cooked script to

Totally agree with you, Community has a history of standout Halloween episodes, and I doubt that even the supporters of this episode would call it a standout compared to Community's record

I have to disagree with everyone saying it was a great episode. It had good lines, but it seemed like there was no chemistry there, and the episode was pretty predictable and disappointing for the most part. Compare it to Epidemiology, which was high energy, high production values and full of fun, and it falls

The Prince Huge part wasn't really much of anything, but Jake going on a date with Cinnamon Bun was just some delightful WTFery

I just enjoyed the concept of the episode, with the Lemongrabs going full Frankenstein and making the most idiotic and disturbing creatures as possible. Sure, it didn't elaborate on Lemongrab's character much at all, but it wasn't about him so much as it was about the crazy shit he was up to.

I think this deserves a B at least, I really enjoyed the totality of it. Quirky adventuring and some enjoyably creepy lemonthings, and the Lemongrabs' inability to stop giving shitty things life was hilarious. AT needs these aggressively weird/creepy episodes every once in a while, and this is one of the creepiest

Why wasn't this the Graveyard Book movie? That would be awesome

No, there's a snail in every episode but the second one (Lumpy Space ep) that waves at the camera. After the events of the Season 2 finale, the snail is possessed by the Lich
