You don't like Community. "Overly clever" is the term people use when they don't and probably never will like Community. It's ok to not like Community, but I don't really see the point in wandering over to X comments section and stating "I don't like X"

Technically, Abed did the math in a few seconds, while you had 22 minutes to figure it out.

The concern was that she was being way overenthusiastic about the baking, and Jeff wanted it tamped down.

Dan Harmon's deadpan response is great. I really think he should have a character on the show.

Andy was underrepresented, I thought. But this was an episode featuring every character, so that'll happen.

They don't write her like she's a social leper, it's just that April doesn't like her, Ron doesn't want to talk to her, and she's out of her element in the Goddesses. She's not Jerry.

First time watching this show, and it's pretty fun, and pretty strange too (Galifinakis breastfeeding). I liked the genuine emotion in Galifinakis's character's interaction with his son. Emotional honesty can be a really good quality in TV shows.

HIMYM is not a show to get vitriolic about.

He's a nerd as written by actual nerds, EG: the writers, who have serious opinions on Star Trek and Lord of the Rings, much as I do. I'm sure it's easy to take their nerdy musings and give them to Ben, and it makes him feel really authentic.

For the first 3 seasons she was a nurse who's story function was being Leslie's best friend and dating a few of the other main characters (Chris, for one). There's no real Ann hate - her relationship with Leslie is, in fact, one of the cornerstones of the show - but she hasn't had 3 seasons to build up relationships

That was by far the best "On the next AD" gag. I don't say this often, but, perfection.

2 eps in? Unless the entirety of season 2 was a disappointment to you, in which case, goodbye.

Fantastic episode, but I've got to say that the Tammy 0 characterization was pretty damn easy. Not that the "gun-totin' libertarian hick" thing was a bad choice, but it was predictable and limiting in the options they have for that character.

I too very much enjoyed "All the Presidents Heads"! And, for that matter, "That Darn Katz" was very good in many aspects, such as the Amy and Nibbler characterization and academia jokes that are unfortunately let down by the cat humor surrounding them. Also, I feel like the need to drag around every character in every

Well, they threw tons of "fan-pleasing" stuff into it (Nibbler! Cubert! Mom! Gay guy!) but it was pretty damn unfocused. I really liked Bender directing Zoidberg into the path of falling fans though, and I found the ending pretty damn heartwarming and funny, so the episode gets a break. Plus that fanservice stuff kept

Seems to me that JB would lapse into Leon-mode, like he had a thought or an idea that's best expressed through Leonisms.

Those weren't terrorists that Louis and the soldiers ran into, they were just civilians who didn't want to let their guard down. It's not like Louis farted on the beach of Normandy and initiated German-American hugging.

WHY WAS FACEBOOK MENTIONED

Actually, I don't like that argument. I watched LOST this summer and really enjoyed the first five seasons (ok, the fifth season did dip a little) but didn't really like season 6 at all. This isn't because of unanswered questions, but because it was a narratively poor conclusion to the series. Whitmore was thrown

Second. When watching on DVD, I saw no narrative compromise in the second episode from the reveal at the end of the first.
