I'm quite fond of the band Milhouse at the moment, really fun pop punk.  They put out 2 Ep's in two years, which is kind of similar to this 3 albums in 3 months thing, except they they don't suck. 
Plus, you know, Simpsons references.

Come on guys. Its been a great year for the metal / punk end of the spectrum. The heaviest thing in this is future of the left (which admittedly was a great album). Could have at least had Converge. They seem to be a band which the non metal kids can get down to.

That Smith Street Band album has almost been on repeat, if not on my Ipod, in my head since it came out. Put on a hell of a live show as well. Sunshine and technology is in my top 10 at least.

I'll agree with refused putting on one hell of a performance. I went night before last, it was the largest show I've been to, but was still alive with energy. It should have, it definitely deserves it. Once you get into the rhythm of that show, with all the self referential jokes and divergences into complete sadness, even the lesser episode (I would count this week as one) are still thoroughly entertaining. I get more then a few solid laughs out of every episode.

Liking the album, but I'm going to rank it below the other three. They had a bit more of an edge that is somewhat lacking here. Still a good album though. Hope he can find a kidney.
