I figured it was River.

The only deal-breaker for me is the needlessly slow pace—oddly enough, it's the chase scenes—often a full 25 minute episode in length—that slow it down. I didn't mind when I was a kid but damned if it doesn't kill the whole thing for me now. I find classic Who is something best enjoyed as memory.
