Sexy.
Sexy.
There are thematic similarities: both deal with sci-fi archetypes (the intrepid spaceman Clooney, the mad scientist Stoltz) dealing with such mundane things as loss and cooking. Both scenes see these types (successfully) becoming true characters.
My quibbles with the grades aside (okay, one last time: what crazy world is it in which "And the Children Shall Lead" gets the same grade as "Where No Man Has Gone Before" and "The Menagerie"?, I've really enjoyed these reviews. It was fun seeing Star Trek as a tv show rather than as Star Trek, if you get what I mean.
BSG did give us Paula…
Greek, Mexican and Italian, any of those swarthy, greasy types. Gotta love this creative team: after the Great Melanin Purge of BSGs final episodes, they give us this nuanced take on criminal ethnics.
Anyone else notice the Solaris quote?

Spite-frakking.
It was a sweeps episode. Hertzler and Combs were in it to get the DS9 fans to watch, The Rock was in it to attract the hooboons. It sucked but no more than your average Voyager episode.
Oh, Miss Gorightry!
Oh, that this too, too sullied* flesh would thaw, melt and resolve itself into a dew.
"Are you a bounty hunter?"
Doubled consonants usually signal that the noun is short rather than long but the rule is so spotty (rather than spoty) that it only serves to confuse.
A rock that size? That would cause serious damage. A line about Joseph having to "take care of it" using his nefarious connections would have been nice.
It does, as did the GNDN seen stenciled on many a pipe and conduit. The letters stand for "Goes Nowhere, Does Nothing."
It was Uhura who said "the thing's gotta have a tailpipe," not Geordi.
She is ugly, though. I feel bad for her. The universe is a fucktard.
All the ladies loved his style!
Indeed it was.
You are very sweet, my reputation be damned.
