Just watched it, and it's not bad. Sackhoff and Taylor play off each other great, and the setup has lots of room to tell interesting stories.

I do like the Selchies as creatures (BTW, does any other fantasy show use such a high proportion of "authentic" creatures instead of making shit up?); they deserved a whole-assed case-of-the-week.
