Goddamnit, Todd…you actually got to my cold, icy heart with this shit.
Goddamnit, Todd…you actually got to my cold, icy heart with this shit.
Sorry for the all caps folks but HOLY SHIT THAT WAS THE BEST BUTTON EVER. AMERICA, HOW DO YOU NOT GET HOW AWESOME THIS FUCKING SHOW IS?!
Nothing is FUCKED?! The GODDAMN shuttlecraft has CRASHED into the distortion field!
"Zack, we have been…and always shall be…your friends."
I've tried, both a letter and a phone call, after the Abed's Christmas preemption last year. Doesn't make any difference, unfortunately…with the show being as low-rated as it is, they don't give a shit.
I reviewed This Is Happening for a small publication, and my basis for the whole review is that Murphy is basically "our generation's" David Byrne, as most/best exemplified by "Home."
I assume that one of my fellow St Louisans has complained elsewhere on this board about our local NBC affliate preempting this for some local "home for the holidays" bullshit, which means we don't get to see it until 11:30 Sunday fucking night.
Anyone else who's played Monster Hunter Tri noticing any of the imports from that game? The whole "sleep" thing, being able to upgrade equipment and potions through the collection of items and interaction with merchants, etc.
I'm a couple hours in, and I too thought the beginning was way slow (although that's partially my own fault, as one of my favorite parts of starting a new Zelda game is just running around the "village" and checking shit out). Then the game really started, and the kick-off was so good (*spoilers, I guess*): the…
I myself thought Stewart and Colbert had their own shows, as opposed to being on SNL. Shows what I know. Especially about being a grammer/punctuation nazi.
I pause here to vomit profusely in agreement.
Mmmmm…Catherine Keener.
Agreed.
I'm choosing to believe this isn't a spambot, but is instead a sly commentary on Hodgman's jock v nerd obsession, as represented through shopping for sports gear/clothing.
Funny that he talks about George RR Martin getting yelled at by his fans…for those that give a shit but maybe don't know, Hodgman interviewed Martin on the Sound Of Young America podcast some weeks ago. Hie thee to Stitcher and give it a listen if you're into that sort of the thing…it's a good, serious discussion…
Actually, this is one of the most straightforward interviews I've read of his. He really is just that much of a nerd. And, one way or the other, he is in fact very funny.
Oh man…I'm sure the removed comment was terrible, but I still really want to know what it was. Despite the fact that I'm sure it was terrible.
Wow, you're so, so wrong. On both counts.
I was not at that show, but yes…she's both radiant and very intense live. I've seen her in a tiny club (St. Louis's Firebird, which was interesting, because a bunch of her family from Tulsa were there) and at Bonnaroo, and I actually enjoyed the much larger festival venue better…she's just got such a huge, huge sound…
It took this long? Seriously, she's been crushtastic for at least a couple of years now.
