Yes

I know a lot of people actually like the movie, so this may not be a popular choice, but I ran like hell out of Bringing Out the Dead about 1/2 way through. I thought it was just turgid, but to be fair I was like 18 at the time and haven't given it another chance since .

I thought that might've been the case but I did a speaker check and everything to make sure it wasn't that. Ah well. I still understood everything - just mildly distracting in those scenes.

Was it just me or did the sound mix seem a little off last night? Specifically in any scene in a bar/club/whatever - it sounded to me like they forgot to duck the background audio when the dialogue started. Vurry difficult to hear much of what was said when the crew was in one of those situations last night -

I get where you're coming from, McPickleshitter, and I agree my "dummys" example was pretty weak (just trying to fill in a list off the top of my head and had to reach for that one).

And yet another AD joke I missed despite seeing each episode way too many times.

Why bother reading the reviews? I'm not going back and looking for Indiana Jones Crystal Skull reviews….

I'm certainly not saying that Friends is anywhere near as influential as the best-of-the-best Simpsons, but it at least serves as a modern prototype for this kind of show (bunch of friends who seemingly have no problem skipping work all the time hanging out at places that would require the money working would give

That was Ultimate Spiderman, though for what it's worth, it doesn't appear they've any intent of bringing that Peter Parker back. This one, though, will be back. Guaranteed.

A year, a year and a half tops, then Parker will find his way back (perhaps with some BS series like Bruce Wayne's/Steve Rogers' confusing and nonsensical adventures through time) to his body, and then they'll pick up the numbering back at #701. Terrible story, terrible execution, obvious resolution in the near

I never understood the rationale of hating something just because it might be overplayed/overhyped/overpraised by the media. I understand there's a popular context around entertainment, but still, isn't it enough to let stuff speak for itself instead of worrying about how much other people like it?

Spicy yet well-intentioned discussions covered in melted sarcasm and served with a side fried gimmick posters is what I expect on this site - not undercooked, salty and unnecessary pedantry.

The one moment in Happy Endings history that made me laugh the most was just after Dave traded his jacket for the clams and blanket, when he realized it was covered in cat hair, and they had a shot of him in the corner of the window with that sneeze and that weird eye-blink. I swear I must've rewound that part at

Funny, I was just logging on to ask this exact question, but am happy I did a search before posting it.
