I think this is it.
I'm not going to watch anymore (not that anybody cares). I've just been disappointed with where they've been going with many of the characters, and tonight was just plain bad. Pam was so incredibly stupid in the first part, it made me angry. Oh well, at least we had fun for a few seasons.

Don't hold your breath for that - according to THR, in all the pilots sent to the main networks, there's a whopping 22 cop dramas, 5 lawyer shows and 2 medical ones. Yay?

FNL is a good analogy, since both shows were on NBC, getting good reviews (I guess? I know FNL did, not sure about Life) but low ratings. It makes sense that the network started meddling in both after one season, trying to bring viewers in like happened for The Office. I guess we can at least be glad that we had a

In my humble opinion the first season is pretty much perfection; the second one focused a little too much on the "wacky" cases and not enough on the characters / conspiracy thing. Some storylines were notable dropped without much care, with characters like Jen or Rachel disappearing suddenly. But it redeemed itself

Life
Is there any way it could come back, even after the one-year pause? I guess not, uh? What a waste. I miss that show so much. Nice to see a reference in here though.

My thoughts exactly, dr.

Julie is probably going to stay around at least a little considering, you know, she's the main characters' daugther.

Very glad you're doing better, and I totally understand where you're coming from. My father died of cancer a few months after the last Harry Potter book and he said he was definitely glad to have been able to read it and to know what happens. Good luck.

I loved the You're fat line, I was surprised no one mentioned it before in here!

My favorite line was the statistics professor and Jeff trying to cover up in front of the dean.
- Midterms and stuff…
- Chalk.

Ditto to everything to said, sarCCastro. In fact both Community and FNL are my current favorite shows (and two NBC ones at that, how zany!) because of their awesome ensembles.

erm, it was in the S3 episode "Spoiler Alert".

That snitch sometimes hides for a long time. So games can last days/weeks/months and that's a lot of time to score goals, so in the end that 150 points doesn't seem so huge.

Every single thing Leonard said to Sheldon in this episode was about how much he hates him. If Sheldon bothers him that much, why doesn't he just move out? It was okay (and understandable) when we knew he also did stuff they both liked with Sheldon, like watching geeky movies or playing video games, but now that

Watching Ted fall for Bilson while we know she's not the mother would have been annoying, not interesting. They did that with Robin for a whole season. Also, Ted's relationship stories usually have about that amount of stuff crammed into a single episode, but then he's not the focus of a whole episode much of the time.

I'm a Season 2 person.

The glass-breaking sound would have been awesome. Though since we've never heard Robin say it when she's not on her show, maybe it wouldn't have worked.

Well, in 100 episodes HIMYM got Ted and Robin together, broke them up, and gave them two relapses; Marshall and Lily broke up, got back together and got married; Barney and Robin got together and broke up; not to mention the "important" ladies Ted has been with (Victoria, Stella). So in terms of your comparison with

It's all about the hotness.

Friday Night Lights
At least this is kind of good news for Friday Night Lights. Maybe we'll even get a sixth season out of it! (Though if we don't, five is perfectly fine and certainly unexpected for this awesome but low-rated show.)
