What 'ideology' is this? That women can be funny?

Hey, if you want to traffic in tired, regressive insinuations that men could only like women-driven entertainment because they're desperately trying to fuck them, more power to you.
It's a case where the explanation actually drained away audience interest rather than piqued it. That strange, fossilised relic? Just a guy in a suit.
Horses for courses, but I really have to disagree in every particular.
Most of the clichés in Aliens were codified by that film, so it's a bit much to use that as a criticism.
It's almost like different people have different opinions about different things?
Fear is tension, and Aliens is nothing but perpetual tension from Hadley's Hope onwards.
Fuck off with your 'white knight'.
It definitely does.
"Scott's direction, as always, is superb."
The grade actually got me quite excited, but once I started reading the review, I looked up at the byline and my suspicions were confirmed.
All of the so-called "Big Questions" in Prometheus were just sub-Däniken ancient astronauts bullshit that were already played out when Stargate did them about a hundred years ago.
Having said all I've said, she really comes off great in this episode's Untucked. I was all braced for some Kim Chi and whatshername awkwardness when it was just her and Nina alone in the lounge, but it was actually fascinating to watch Valentina when she's forced to speak up. I feel she just can't elbow her way into…
Remember when Sasha Belle was called "John Goodman in a wig"? Or when the, at best, slightly thick Roxxxy Andrews legitimately tried to pass herself off as a 'big queen'? Hell, even the original backrolls comment about Alyssa Edwards, who has about as much body fat as a sundried chihuahua?
Of all the things I'd say about the roast, "mostly solid" is not one of them. It was like the Titanic: only half the cast made it out alive.
I adore Valentina, but - envy and shadiness aside - it's easy to see why the other queens don't really like her. She comes across as very cold and detached.
Farrah was complete filler, but whining aside, she was pretty likeable and she bounced well off the other queens. She's like an undertalented Adore Delano.
The Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development?
Holy shit, I can't believe that show's been on the air for 11 years.
It was common enough to be used in Serenity over a decade ago.
