The Razzies tend to simply latch on to any films generally perceived as being awful in any given year, even if they are not objectively the worst.  Like the Oscars, they always shoot for the easy commercial targets (Transformers, Twilight); if a film is already infamously awful, issuing it an award for horribleness…
