Aren't two of them dykey? The athletic one and the cowboy one both seem like different faces of lesbianism.

You know people can like the show without being Bronies. Just like people can like Star Trek without being Trekkies.

But that They Might be Giants cover of Chubawumba is AGAIN featured prominently. Can't have enough of a video of a kid's band singing a catchy drinking song while the AV Club staff joins in…

Oh yeah. War. That one actually had potential.

I did have that moment of curiosity. It didn't drive me to the comic book store to read any of those titles. And by the time I got to a comic book store they weren't on the newstand and I wasn't going to pay back issue prices (considering that I don't pay cover prices - $4 for a 22 page comic that takes 5 minutes to

I thought it was cocaine.

I loved the New Universe when it came out but I was convincing myself to love it. I still remember the letter to the Psi-Force that I thought was trashing the comic because it declared that the characters were a valley girl, a juvenile delinquent, a nerd, a good girl and a jock.

Oh thank you for that Uma picture. That's just perfect.

He's trying to pick her up in a pharmacy. Either he's a creepy stalker dude who just read a book on How to Pick Up Girls or he's a guy that is trying to compensate for something missing in his life.

have you been watching this show? At least half the major plot points have been based on impossible coincidences.

The Mary Sue is the stand-in for the author to be the perfect character that gets all the sex, love, etc. - Sookie, Bella, James Bond, that dude in the Dragon Tattoo series, etc. She wouldn't fit the bill.

I'm assuming that's who is being referenced when the Doctor says that there are some lives that he's trying to forget. We're all trying to forget that incarnation.

At least not for Henry V. I think this reviewer is on drugs. Or just snottiness. I'm watching Henry V right now and the only improvement I can see is when Henry V includes that part about cutting the French prisoner's throats.

With that version of Henry V in the world, it's just so impossible to like versions like this one where that same scene happens with an old guy just telling everyone what's what.

The thing is though that Hiddleston was pretty great as Loki and he seemed like someone who could command an army and a kingdom in that role.

Wrong.

Also, these are early Shakespeare plays where he's not having any fun with the poetic tropes.

No. King John is really cool. Henry VIII is a mess.

So you're assuming that out of the thousands of comedians working their asses off in comedy clubs and improv troupes, there are NO minorities among them. And that the minorities are just completely unfunny and could never be on SNL.

Well it's good that ONE person liked Spring Breakers.
