Although Davison was basically there to be the anti-Tom Baker since JNT couldn't stand working with Baker.

And the only decent Doctor Who comparison to the Borg is what RTD did with the Daleks. Like the Borg, he made them into the ultra-powerful unstoppable villain and then like the Borg he brought them back so many fucking times that their cover story became sadder and sadder as they just kept getting fucked over.

No. No fucking way. And I'm an American. There is no way that anyone can say that TNG did anything better.

You are basing your "this show has lost it" analysis on fucking Star Trek?

That was an Amy Pond line. And every time anyone in any show puts their implicit trust in another character, I always hope that the character just totally fucks up and gets everyone killed.

Nathan Rabin is coming back to AV Club…no?

Speaking of which - this "Fight the Red" advertisement? Is it a tampon ad? It looks like a tampon ad? I don't want to find out.

Oh you poor naive fool.

'SubwayJustice' thinks that someone pointing out that the show was a piece of shit this last season is being a man bummer?

And no decent episodes that anyone liked.

Either this show has been renewed for a fourth season or it got canceled after three really good seasons.

I meant Christina Ricci in the second Addams Family movie. Seriously, I can't be the only person to think that she was being sexualized in that.

The Onion posted this story on its newsfeed for Facebook - 60% of the comments think that it's an Onion article and are yelling "too soon"

There was quite a bit of pedophilia in the early 90s. Natalie Portman, Christina Ricci and Kirsten Dunst all played sexualized pre-teen girls in ways that was really really creepy.

What can I say? Actors need the work.

Every time I go to the movies I think, damn, why isn't this more fun? And yet no one shoots up the theater - either seriously or for a joke.

Ok, that almost explains it. Because Costner is such a loser in this movie and nothing seems to make any logical sense (like he goes to the psychologist Rene Russo and confesses his feelings under the guise of therapy and she has a musical montage to apologize to him)

Not sure about that. Kevin Costner seems to be auditioning for his serial killer role in this movie.

My friend makes the same point. I suppose that the third season had the seeds of this crappy seasons but I still could forgive it for the repetition of the "Britta is the worst" repetition.

My friend used to love this show more than I did and this season he started complaining and I resisted being as disappointed in the show as he was. Finally the puppet episode killed it for me. Not only did I start to hate the show but I missed the last three episodes (saw the tail end of this one).
