TNT makes terrible shows to watch when you are too high to hate them.

I'm more thinking about critics giving him a wide berth in the early days when his movies ranged from classics like Do the Right Thing to sexist pieces of shit like She's Gotta Have It.

In an ideal world there would be dozens of black directors making movies every year and no one would get the designation as The Black One.

Also a confused and jumbled movie with good performances from some people. And the idea that Samuel Jackson and Wesley Snipes can play brothers in a movie where they aren't shooting dozens of people is sweet.

And no way is House of Payne the worst sitcom on television - even if it is on TNT. Not with Two and a Half Men and the Big Bang Theory still in the world.

I loved the movie where Medea sits down with the family that hates each other and tells the one daughter that she's just mad because she got raped as a kid.

Yet Forrest Gump still gets a pass.

Remember when Spike Lee was the Tyler Perry of filmmakers? Even if the underlying message of his movies was "fuck the Italians"? Good times.

Deuteronomy is just full of dick jokes.

Or when someone says that Richard Dawkins' words are brilliant when he's just being an asshole.

Oooh. This means that we might avoid Billy Crystal for another year. And if they want to really make people miss Seth McFarlane they can go with Sarah Silverman and Joan Rivers as hosts. Let's see anyone remember that George Clooney joke then.
