I'm just happy that this means that they will HAVE a mother character and they will actually have to cast the woman for the 9th season. Hopefully. I mean they could go total bullshit with her in shadow and just Ted talking about her - but this almost hangs together.

Will Mr. Big show up as a law student with a trust fund but carrie will forget his name? Will Samantha be a thirty year old woman blowing truckers? Only time will tell.

Delerium was a minor character until Tori Amos became part of the Gaiman legend. Then suddenly she gets an entire story dedicated to her.

And yet the Green Party of Israel that has marijuana legalization as their one and only platform can't get more than 5-11 seats in parliament.

On the other hand, the cast of Glee will be singing exclusively songs from the Insane Clown Posse catalog.

And yet it's still boring.

White Girls 2 with Sylvester Stallone. It's totally happening.

But once he and Tori started hanging out, the Delerium character started taking a more pronounced story in the series.

The song is playing when they go into an office during the Brief Lives. Then Tori started referencing Sandman at least once an album.

How is Lars Van Trier's standup act coming along? I haven't heard much from it since that "I am a Nazi" act at Cannes.

Why is the Bjork video after the Identity Theft movie?

And you never will.

I'm embarrassed to say that I FINALLY got into Love & Rockets.

But we can all agree that is sucks.

It's like nerds are cool now and people want to be nerds.

Community
The IT Crowd
Dr Who
My Little Pony (especially the episode where Rainbow Dash realizes that she likes reading even though it makes her an egghead like Twilight Sparkle)

That was a joke? Was there another joke that went "Well I liked Sheldon at one point but then he became just a catch phrase spewing shithead?"

There's a show called The IT Crowd. There's also a show called Community. Take all those thwarted expectations that you have for this shit and move them to them.

I wonder if the audience for this show is the audience for conspiracy theories. that "haha, those nerds are so stupid. They don't know anything about the 9/11 plot and the fluoride and what Big Pharma is doing with all those vaccinations."

It's like reading the increasingly angry reviews of Two Broke Girls.
