I liked some of Taylor Swift's early songs, "Love Story" and "You Belong to Me," and especially the gorgeous "Teardrops on My Guitar." Adolescent love songs sure, but really sweet and catchy. Also, that song from The Hunger Games w/ the cool riff.

Many actors auditioning for Bothan roles died to bring us this information.
Hey there. I'd like that. Mark Hamill and John Schneider cruising around.
Robert Plant should be in it. And the little girl from Pacific Rim.
The problem for me, living in a small town, is that nothing but big flashy blockbusters ever comes to the local theater. I am aware of The Master or The Place Beyond The Pines or other more obscure films thanks in large part to sites like this, but have to wait until post-theatrical to actually watch them.
Production models that do no deliver good content deserve to die.
Yeah, there's nothing like a euphemism to get the imagination going.
Incredible to look back at stuff like that. It's weird in a way because, obviously everyone watching, no matter how repressed or square, was fully aware of what a toilet was, in real 3D life no less. But I guess that the idea was that certain things were private, for your own eyes in your own life only.
I've only seen a bit of any of the post-I Love Lucy shows starring Ball, but I get a similar feeling to watching the stars of Seinfeld acting in other shows. Same actors, but nothing like the quality of writing, cast chemistry and sense of being worthwhile.
Poor Vivian Vance, who had to play someone deliberately un-glamorous and be TV-married to William Frawley. Viv really was beautiful and talented.
"You know what, Lucy? Being married to you isn't easy, but it sure is a lot of fun."
Yes. That is a wonderful sequence.
I watched a lot of I Love Lucy in syndicated reruns growing up. I think that it is important to remember that even though it seems rather formulaic looking back now, ILL executed (and of course, in many ways innovated) the classic sitcom formula in a monumental way. The cast, writing, production techniques and yes the…
Thank you, and much respect for actually answering my question.
Question: Who is the lady in the picture at the top? I have never watched The Shield and am thus ignorant.
Therein is the tragedy of being Vir at this point. He can't be the good guy even, at least not publicly or in a sustained, stable fashion. I don't mind the Vir episode; the overall idea is nice.
Smulder? Where are you?
Oh, I had an Atari ET game, and it was crazy. His neck would telescope up and down.
I remember seeing Fold Your Hands Child… in a music store years back, and thinking it was a cool title. Too bad. Also, I kind of hoped that the girls on the cover were Belle and Sebastian.
I actually do. B&S is one of those entities that I always heard referenced as being "precious" or something, but never had much of a real idea of what they actually did. Actually. And same kind of goes for Neutral Milk Hotel, who have actually leapt into my awareness in the last year or so…apparently I was culturally…
