What? I love this show but this episode was pretty much boring and cartoony

Yeshhhh

Disneyland is awesome

This is all true. Either way I am indeed still a fan of Mr Benson

As someone who used to be an avid listener, it finally hit me: Doug Loves Movies is an absolutely terrible podcast. Its background noise at best.

I agree that the Nerdist and Doug Loves Movies are pretty much ruined by the host banter, but Maron is great - you just have to realize the show is as much about him as it is about his guests.

I've seen those episodes. I understand what they're trying to do.

I watch it because the show is (or was) funny when its not trying to force feed the audience chemistry that isnt there or psychological breakthroughs on these frankly cartoon characters every week.

No its not "supposed to be barely there". It was supposed to be emotional moment at the end of this episode as if we we're supposed to give a shit about this piss poor attempt at building a relationship between these two characters that have nothing in common or any chemistry. Its not natural at all, its bad writing.

The Winger speeches may have stopped but the last few weeks are proving the show to be more melodramatic than ever, with the Scrubs-esque sappy endings topped off with an amateur psychology lesson.

Youre completely right Halo, this show is simply trying to be too many things at once, to a point where it's starting to embarrass itself with the weekly will they/wont they and melodramatic speech - staples of sitcoms that the show has already mocked (though I'm sure someone will roll in here and say "thats the

A lot of this episode was funny and I enjoyed parts it, but I find the inter-group attractions really distracting right now, its built up too much for me to watch without being annoyed. The Jeff-Annie thing is Ughhhhawful. The Brita Troy stuff is Ughhhhterrible. Its not touching, its will they wont they melodrama..

Yeah the Atari moment made me mentally say "Oh god" and start to tear up. It was too much for me to handle.

No no no I love that whole song/album

Either way, all their albums are very strong. Wowee Zowee is probably my favorite album ever front to back and there ain't no mentions of Geddy Lee on that

As much as I like Nick the character I feel like too many people look at his storyline and go "Dawww I feel so bad for him why didnt Lindsay go for him?"

Dont get me wrong, I like this show but it seems to be going further and further up its own ass. I just think it's trying to be too many things at once.

This episode was bad. Gimmick format. Lack of real jokes. "Emotional" ending on par with an episode of Scrubs (Oh I wonder if Jeff will be inconsiderate again next week! THIS SHOW IS SO DEEP)

It's true!

Finally a show we can all recognize as fucking excellent. Watching this show and then reading about how "deep" the character interactions are on Community makes me lawl. Almost every scene in this entire series rings true and something as simple as Sam crying at the end of the Garage Door episode is like a punch to
