Oh I like em both, I just like starting wars.
Oh I like em both, I just like starting wars.
This show is utterly terrible, so this episode musta been some kinda special
AV Club writers seem to live in an alternate reality where Community's character "growth" and plot development aren't completely forced and generally awful, while 30 Rock is suffering for simply being funny all the time.
I liked everything but the Troy and Abed stuff, I dont understand the obsession with their brutally quirky subplots sometimes. Though that may be the product of them trying and failing to get us to genuinely care about these two dimensional characters with stupid shit like the drinking episode last season.
This show is endlessly adorable.
I can't believe someone actually said "I can't believe Betty still wasn't happy with another guy!"
This episode wasnt very good but does this show really need continuity? Who cares
Both of these episodes were fantastic! Jack looking through the window was the funniest visual gag Ive seen in a long long time.
This show is often very funny but its wears its smug cleverness on its sleeve so unashamedly I cant help but be kind of turned off.
Im glad this show has returned. I was worried it wouldnt be back in time for the AV Club to grossly overrate it.
Tig… do you have some announcements?
I don't understand how this show is "far less funny than it used to be". This season of 30 Rock has been excellent and most of last season was pretty good too. 3 was half excellent, 4 was the only season that actually sucked.
I mean he's actually a really good actor too, at least when he applies himself - Truman Show, Man on the Moon, Eternal Sunshine. Even in I Love You Phillip Morris he was absolutely perfect, his comedic timing is still excellent.
Jim Carrey is awesome, yall some major haters and some math minors
LOVED Who Carted this week. Anytime that show has a not-terrible guest I enjoy it thoroughly, Howard is just genius
Haven't seen this episode, but anyone defending pre-cancellation Family Guy needs to actually watch pre-cancellation Family Guy because it is totally bland, awful, and unfunny where as the more recent episodes have genuinely funny moments sprinkled on top of a fundamentally shitty show.
Completely agree with the comparisons to Life and Times of Tim by the way. Another one of those top 5 shows.
This episode was absolutely hilarious and this is still a top 5 show on TV.
And Roy Hibbert is a fan of both shows
I can't stand Doug Loves Movies anymore. I don't know what it is but something just clicked and I can't listen to it without thinking Doug is a massive fucking idiot.
