Judging by the the first song, it is more stupid than terrible. Someone else can listen to the rest of it.

So the lesson here is that if you give a program access to your Facebook account, it can access your Facebook account?

I am in. I despise this show. Mainly because I feel like it could have been quite good.

Well, it isn't an "official" document. I don't know that such a thing exists. But it is getting a little tiresome to hear the media portray the protesters as a bunch of bored college kids having a street festival under the pretense of "money bad."

I should add that I do not necessarily think they are realistic goals.

I actually feel a little bit bad, because while I sympathize with the protesters' goals, this is the first time I ever thought, "Holy shit, I should have been there!"

Yeah, I like this quite a bit.

Coriolanus isn't great, but it does have some great speeches.

I am neither young nor single, and I think it does a pretty good job of capturing the anxiety of getting old while trying to stay cool. I am actually a bit surprised that the young singles seem to be digging it.

I guess we now have the answer to "Where's Firefly?"

You mean there is more to Tumblr than porn?

Good lord, that movie freaked me out when I was a kid.

It is pretty much nothing like Perdido Street in tone, though I can see why you would get that from the description. It actually reminds me most of the Steven Brust Vlad Taltos books, though it is significantly grimier.

For some reason, this sent me into a brief, irrational rage. And I like Neil Gaiman.

Ashes to Ashes is absolutely worth checking out. But if you also have not seen Life on Mars, you really should begin there.

I brought this up in the earlier thread, but I think that those of us interested in both college football and an online chat about The X-Files movie are a pretty distinct minority.

woah.

I think this is a really cool idea. I just wish it wasn't happening the first Saturday of college football season. I realize that I may be alone in this concern…

Also, the girl is using her looks to manipulate her brother? Or am I reading that wrong?
