You can turn it on or off. There's an even more elegant system coming.

Coming. Probably with the launch.

This may be coming. Will let you know.

Kind of boring, honestly, though it's not a great part.

Oh, I like Milius' CONAN. Let there be no mistake. It's a good movie. I just don't think a) It's a _great_ movie or b) It's the best possible interpretation of Howard we could get. Agreed that the opening is fantastic. I'm not sure the rest of it is ever quite as good.

Re: Your discussion on comments… Changes are coming.

Glen & Randa
I didn't have room for this in the piece, but has anyone seen McBride's GLEN & RANDA? It's a post-apocalyptic road movie he made from a Rudy Wurlitzer script in the early 70s. That description probably makes it sound more exciting than it really is, but it's worth a look. There's a lot of BREATHLESS in it

I know I'm pretty deep in the minority with my opinion on this one, which isn't a place I mind being. I agree that this is a one-of-a-kind film from a filmmaker worth watching. It prompted a powerful response in me, which I'll take any time over boredom. But in this instance that response curdled into repulsion.

Fake Stan Lee: I don't usually single commenters out for applause, especially gimmick commenters, but I salute you.

I know! But there are some stiff efforts in between. Veedon is fantastic.

Oh, I like it. I like all their albums. But if you're talking about unimpeachable, start-to-finish greatness I'm not sure it fits.

Some more
Van Morrison: Astral Weeks to St. Dominic's Preview (though that depends on what you think of Tupelo Honey)

All packaged in convenient eBook form to he be easily read wherever you like and at a low, low price.

That murder charge has always seemed like irresponsible speculation to me.

They are good. And "B" is a good grade. I just had reservations about both and don't give out many "A"s. Gotta make them count.

Who's with me?
Kings Island. The best, right?

No. But maybe I just start doing that.

That wasn't me. I read GOON SQUAD the old-fashioned way: As an ebook on my iPad.

Obit in the works.

He had it up to the end, too. That CAPTAIN AMERICA issue from 2009 is terrific.
