Still TBD, though I'm trying to focus on theatrical releases.

That's an interesting notion and there's a bit of that in Hounsou's performance. Here he's given both white and black features.

Actually, it should be an A-. Marked an A by accident. Still great though.

Tasha has. It comes up in our AV Talk that posts tomorrow.

I think the murder got unfortunately legitimized by Patrick McGilligan's useful / sensationalistic 1997 bio THE NATURE OF THE BEAST. Even there it's pure conjecture.

Sir, you need to get to know the names Bill Evans and Herbie Hancock.

Cheap Toy Roundup fans do not need to fear.

His solo albums are all pretty good, particularly 2006's UNDER THE SKIN.

Oh cool. I caught part of that on PBS in the middle of the night and wanted to see the whole thing. Was hoping it would make it to DVD or something. Thanks.

I buy Julie

Well, no we didn't. We've been kicking around this idea for months. Sean, who spearheaded the list, sent me a concerned e-mail when he saw your comment and only then saw the EW article. Honest mistake. (If we had been aware of it, though, we might have killed the article.)

TV Club is next.

Cujo's quite good. I don't know why, but I got an urge to read it this summer. Thus this entry was born.

Nice tip. It's a great score. Not exactly an unusual score by Morricone standards but intense and unsettling.
