Yeah the point of the scene to me was to show how none of the Angels live up to Humanity's expectations. Even zeke had that weird first line of "Hey aren't we angels supposed to be the good guys?"

More like a show about the 2nd avatar. Think about it, no one would know how to go about training or dealing with Wan's reincarnation. No one has that reverence Aang of Korra got. The 2nd Avatar may have been the most reluctant hero ever.
