yeah, me too, that comment was a little poorly phrased. I dunno, the whole episode just felt really play-by-numbers and none of the jokes landed for me

Since Frisky Dingo preceded Archer, even a season 1 bok bok is a callback to FD
I fucking love all the callbacks Reed throws in, particularly the ones aimed at Frisky Dingo.
watch Frisky Dingo if you haven't already
I love parks and rec but I didn't laugh once at this episode. It felt like a repeat
fella, the problem isn't that the show is too sophisticated for me, or that I can't understand the nature of an unlikeable protagonist.
Jason's awesome and I think he's consistently funny and engaging, but…
No the subject was that the trashy reality shows on Bravo don't merit thousands of words in a feature called "For Your Consideration."
what the shit are you talking about?
Find and link an article worse than this, I challenge you.
Yeah that's a thoughtful, nuanced view you have there. If people hate this article, they must hate women
What do you think the term "cultural artifact" means?
There's a large segment of the population that is engrossed daily by the antics of Judge Judy, it doesn't mean it's worth analyzing or that it should be on the AVClub
There's no such thing.
I read it, and it's terrible.
Holy shit on a stick this is the stupidest fucking string of words that's ever been posted on the AVClub
NO MENTION OF THAT CRAZY SHERRY/TERRY PLACE SWITCH DANCE???
I felt the same way about the theme song…. until I downloaded it and listened beginning to end. Turns out it's a pretty bleak and unhappy song, but the isolated, cymbal heavy part does translate well to opening credits
Nah, nothing like that. Kids and a pregnant widow = more guilt for Annie and Troy and more laughs for us
Mileage varies obviously, but I like the way Hunnam played it. In that situation the most realistic reaction Jax could possibly have is no reaction at all, while his brain races to process everything. He looked to me like a guy who could barely speak aloud because he was so in his head, let alone emotionally react.
