Definitely agree, even more than 10 years removed from the worst of my bullying the first half of the trailer was painful for me to watch. As much as I like to consider myself a fairly well adjusted adult, I don't think I could handle being forced to go back into that headspace again.

My brain is telling me that this is a terrible idea, but my heart says yes. I have always loved Anchorman.

The cast recording is pretty good from what I've heard, but if you ever get the opportunity to see it in person you should. They didn't use a pit orchestra in the show, instead every actor played live. It'll probably be the only opportunity to see a guy dancing with a cello on Broadway. Also, a bunch of the cast came

Dublin not so much, the musical seemed fairly low budget, and they really only had one set so they chose an interior rather than a city street. However, there was a lot of talk about loving being Irish and Czech as well as the opportunities the Czech immigrants found in Ireland. Actually, the Czech characters got a

I'm kind of selfishly happy none of the Chinese from Firefly/Serenity made the list. I had a few classmates who took Chinese because of Firefly so I decided to watch it and got some real secondhand embarrassment from the pronunciation. I watched Serenity for the first time when I was studying in Beijing, the crowd was

Sabor de Soledad: ¡Ahora con mas semen del toro!

I got a lot done this weekend, including watching the Mad Men premiere.

The Model Rail Podcast sounds like something Ben Wyatt should be listening to.

The skin flaying scene in Haruki Murakami's Wind-up Bird Chronicle was pretty upsetting to read. It just went on for so long and was so detailed.

I saw The Kid With The Bike on Saturday, I didn't love it as much as I thought I would, but it's still pretty decent and worth seeing.

Not a particularly prolific weekend for me because I was studying for midterms.

As much as I love A Confederacy of Dunces I'm glad this isn't; I like Adam Scott and Amy Poehler far too much to want them to fall victim to the "curse" surrounding those tapped to star in a movie adaptation.

On Friday I went to see A Separation, it was just as great as everyone has probably heard. Saturday night I went to a screening of Studio Ghibli's Only Yesterday on campus, I had already seen it, but took some friends who hadn't, they were suitably impressed. It's a shame this one has never gotten an official release

Exactly, I mercilessly made fun of Jack for years, complained about his relationship with Kate, wished the smoke monster would get him, etc. But I wept at the end of the last episode. He did at least partially redeem himself with his epic flying punch before it all ended.

I distinctly remember being in a room with 4 or 5 other people watching the episode when Kate got shot. We all started cheering and high-fiving each other. Little did we know that her t-shirt was really bullet proof.

I went to a midnight screening of The Room. I'd never seen it before, and just as youtube promised it was hilariously bad. It was a sold out crowd where most of us were at least slightly tipsy so lots of good crowd banter and spoon throwing.

What's pizza? Never heard of it!

Best table in the world indeed. I missed Parks so much last week, thank goodness it's back.

Poor Adam Scott sounded a tad congested this whole episode, he must have had a cold or something. It did make his BOBBY NEWPORT voice work pretty well though!
